Valley Herd Basketball is entering its third year of competition. What began in 2023 as the Renfrew Herd has now grown to proudly represent the entire Ottawa Valley for the 2025/26 season.
Our mission is to develop young athletes both on and off the court. We strive to guide players through their basketball journeys, support their personal growth, and open doors to scholarships and post-secondary opportunities.
As the first basketball academy of its kind in the Ottawa Valley, we unite players from communities such as Renfrew, Pembroke, Shawville, and beyond. Our teams are built from local talent, representing the Valley with pride across Ontario and Quebec.

Building each player from the ground up, our coaches encourage an underdog mentality and preach practice makes progress. You must work hard to be better. You must work smart to be better.
We coach our athletes to be elite not just at their craft, but in the classroom and in their service to the community.
